Kia Motors First Month Sales in India
Kia has overtaken over half a dozen rivals. Kia Motors Seltos smashed all records and becomes the highest selling mid-size SUV by selling 6,200 units in India during August, hence outselling over half a dozen other global automobile brands in the South Korean automaker's debut month in its newest market. Another new entrant, MG Motor of China was at the eleventh spot, but its numbers were of retail sales, unlike others who have reported wholesale volume, or dispatches from factories. Kia has been taking bookings for Seltos since mid-July and much of the sales last month would be against pre-launch bookings.
